Retina Specialist of New York in Flushing, NY is looking for an outstandingly hard working and friendly teammate to perform insurance and administrative duties as a Bilingual Medical Biller.
As a Medical Biller, you will take charge of the front-end of the office and medical billing for patients. You will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensure accurate billing. Supporting and serving spanish speaking patients is essential!

Responsibilities
- Screen and answer phone calls
- Schedule appointments and manage calendar
- Collect payments and follow up on unpaid claims
- Check insurance eligibility and pre-authorizations
- Other medical billing duties
Requirements
- Ability to speak Spanish
- Knowledge of medical billing or medical coding
- Experience in a medical office setting
- A plus if you have Insurance verification experience
- Great customer service skills
- Organized and reliable
