Job Description:
- Interact with patients (Greet, seat, checkout)
- Take digital xrays (includes Pano, CBCT)
- Digital Scanning for impressions and Digital Printing
- Chairside Assisting (all general procedures such as fills, crowns, root canals, extractions.
Specialty chairside assisting such as implants, oral surgeon assisting, tray set ups) - Lab Work ( create temporary crowns, make cerec crowns, in office retainers, monitor case tracker)
- Dental Equipment Maintenance
- Sterilization
- Order Clinical Supplies
- Clear Aligner Therapy (ortho records/photos, scanning)
- Pre operative & Post Operative Preparation for Implants
- Review Schedule to align with Doctor's work style
COVID-19 considerations:
Private practice, office newly renovated, practice social distancing, curbside check in for all patients, wellness screening for all employees and patients with temperature reading daily, all levels of masks provided, disposable PPE, isolation gowns
Experience:
- Dental Assisting: 3 years (Preferred)
Duties:
- Assisting chair-side
- Taking records, impressions, or x-rays
- Using computers to update electronic patient records
- Assisting with lab tasks as needed
